The Polonia Cultural & Commercial Centre
is a part of the larger development that includes Saint Eugene de Mazenod Church as well as the ‘Villa Polonia’ Seniors’ Condominium Complex.

The Centre will be a 2-storey, approximately 55,000 square foot facility with frontage on both Steeles Avenue West and Polonia Avenue. The First Floor will house a state-of-the-art Cultural Centre, stores, restaurants and other businesses including a new branch of the Saint Stanislaus - Saint Casimir's Polish Parishes Credit Union. The second level will be dedicated to professional offices.

The design is intended to create the image of a traditional market setting along Polonia Avenue, which would become a favourite place for artists, professionals, business owners and consumers. Introduction of the colonnade along the facades of the building creates a comfortable pedestrian zone sheltered from rain, snow and sun, allowing business owners to display their wares for maximum exposure.

Proposed building materials include cast-in-place and pre-cast concrete, stone veneer, stucco, pre-finished metal roofing, steel, aluminum and glass. Colours and finishes will complement the Church and ‘Villa Polonia’ to create a well-coordinated and elegant development.
